Interesting Light Tech
I travelled up to the CORE Bike Show in Whittlebury a couple of weeks ago to take a look at some of the new tech to come to the market for 2018. Some products just released and others getting a boost before the new season. Plenty to look at and add to your wish list! So much so that it was really hard trying to decide what I would talk about in this post. I decided on one innovative idea, a new light combo from Knog. Ill attempt to share about it briefly below. If this catches your attention you can find them on our store page here or you can give us a call or drop us an email and we can get them sent to you. If you already use the product I'm about to mention feel free to leave your thoughts and comments as well...
KNOG - PWR Range
A cracking light/power source combo that allows you to interchange various head units for various riding conditions. Essentially a plug and play adapter allows this to happen. Once the head unit is fixed switching it on and off is just as easy as turning it - winter gloves on - no problem at all! The power unit allows you to charge your Garmin of iPhone, or any USB device really, on the go and the unit is programable via your PC or laptop. It comes with a great little mount that can sit off-set on your bars and underneath your computer or phone leaving you plenty of space for any other accessories you might need. The mount fixes on via a quick-release so its no hassle to remove for charging but is securely fastened and in no danger of coming off.
There is a great little review on the Knog website and you can view it here.
While getting a demo first hand from one of the Knog experts we saw a number of add-ons available as well for the touring enthusiast - camping light, speaker etc.
