Gravity Cycles Servicing

All forms of transport are regularly checked, serviced, and repaired to make sure they are running smoothly, and your bike should be no different. At Gravity Cycles, in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, we specialise in bike servicing and repairs, helping our customers to stay safe on their road or off-road adventure.

We have a range of service packages for our customers to choose from, details of which can be found below. Please note that all packages are exclusive of parts, unless stated.

Have an extremely dirty and mud-packed bike? No worries - lets us take care of it for you for a small fee of £15.

Tweak – £40

Before your next commute or adventure, give your bike a thorough check by choosing the Tweak service. This includes:

• Gears Adjusted and Tuned and Chain Checked and Lubricated
• Inspection of All Brake and Gear Cables
• Brakes Aligned and Adjusted and Pads Checked
• Wheels Checked for Damage
• Tyres Checked and Inflated If Required
• Frame and Fork Visually Checked for Damage
• Nuts and Bolts Checked and Tightened If Required

At the end of the Tweak service, we will make recommendations on any work that might be required or highlight issues that might make your bicycle unsafe. Please note that there is no obligation to accept this work.

Pit Stop – £60

When you’ve been out and about on your bike and you want to make sure everything is running smoothly, choose the Pit Stop service. This service includes all aspects of the Tweak service, plus:

Any replacement parts or additional work required will be checked with you before it is undertaken. Parts are charged in addition to the service cost.

• Wheel Hubs and Rims Checked for Wear and Damage and Adjusted If Required
• Spoke Tensions Checked
• Drivetrain and Cassette Cleaned on the Bike and Checked for Wear and Damage
• Headset, Handlebar, and Stem Checked and Torqued Correctly
• Bottom Bracket Checked
• Gear and Brake Cables Replaced If Required
• Brake Pads Replaced If Required
• Bike Polished

TLC Service – £90

*Please note some price changes as of 1st January, 2019. If you had a service booked before the price change we will hone original quoted price.

Perfect for when you’ve been on some great adventures or commuted more journeys than you care to remember and your bike needs to be given some TLC before its next outing. The TLC Service includes all aspects of the Pit Stop service, plus:

• Drivetrain, Chain, and Cassette Removed and Cleaned in the Parts Washer
• Wheels Trued and Tensioned and Spokes Replaced If Required
• Bottom Bracket Adjusted If Required
• Headset Adjusted If Required

Any replacement parts or additional work required will be checked with you before it is undertaken. Parts are charged in addition to the service cost.

Complete Overhaul – £120

Get back to basics with a full strip down, clean, and rebuild. Nothing is left unturned. The Complete Overhaul service includes all aspects of the TLC Service, plus:

• All Components Removed from the Frame and Cleaned Where Possible
• Frame Checked for Damage and Cleaned
• Wheel Hubs Stripped and Bearings Re-Greased or Replaced If Required
• Headset Stripped down and Re-Greased
• Threads Chased If Required
• Outer Cables for Gear and Brakes Replaced
• Bike Fully Reassembled, Lubricated, and Polished
